The State of Economic Inclusion Report 2021 provides a global assessment on the state of economic inclusion programs that reach the extreme poor and vulnerable. Drawing on experiences from over 75 countries, the report considers the feasibility of bringing economic inclusion and graduation programs to scale.

Economic Inclusion in the times of COVID: the potential to scale through social protection systems

PEI, together with an expert panel from BRAC, FAO, and the Government of Malawi, will discuss the changing landscape around economic inclusion – featuring safety net plus, graduation and productive inclusion initiatives. The panel will take stock of recent trends and innovations, country experiences in scaling up economic inclusion via existing safety net systems and experiences in linking these investments to the local economy as part of the COVID-19 response.
